It's the last day of the year! I hope the year has been OK for you, and that music has helped see you through the difficult times. However we encounter it, as listeners, players, dancers, singers, secret bathroom performers... music is a miracle that makes us feel better and less alone. I hope you made some great musical connections/discoveries this year!
Musical possibilities are endless, but still it's so nice to come back to old favourites. I've loved revisiting Laura Nyro, for November's livestream and then for our December advent calendar! It struck me that it's maybe a little difficult to access the links to recordings embedded in the blog posts, so here they all are if you wanted to follow up or revisit :)
Who knows what's coming in 2022? But music is going to be there, no matter what.
Happy New Year's Eve, and a Very Happy New Year! xxx

Happy New Year everyone! Its so good to have a delightful musical start to the year....and the days are lightening and lengthening! Wishing everyone a great year ahead. See you on the 16th xxxx
NOW Im getting excited about the year to come!! 😍
Listening to Louise’s Church, l realized that you’ve also made a nice index to be able to reference the more detailed posts for each song and the accompanying conversation. Laura, Louise, Frida, and Billie :)
And thanks for putting the whole advent calendar in one post—very handy!
