That's a quote I forgot to mention last night - it comes from the Youth Hostel Association (I just rejoined even though not a youth!). It's a good one, isn't it?
Anyway thank you so much to everyone who joined the livestream last night, it was really fun to travel on the journey with you! It's amazing how much you can feel connected even when you can't see the other person - thanks for your great energy and support. As with all the past livestreams, it's still up there on YouTube to listen again anytime.
This was the super-cosy scene that I was looking at. Here's looking at you!
See you on 21st June (tbc) for the next one... :))
Although the train said to Totnes it was infact going in the opposite direction....
I changed at trains at the wonderful York Station- look at that amazing iron work!
Looking forward to the livestreams- however, teaching for first time in 16 months on both days... I should probably go to bed early !
Nice song and childhood memory from Bill on Over To You :)
I'm just doing a bit of reading about Harris from a book of the Western Isles I purchased in charity shop a couple of years ago.- A friend is visiting Jura at the moment ( great weather and no midges) and posted some pictures on fb which prompted me to find out where it and Harris are.
What a beautiful place to visit- how lucky as a child were you! I've not been any further north than Glasgow and Edinburgh so need to put it on the bucket list I think!
I have had several holidays on the wonderful island of Sark but that is quite different.
I've been listening to various versions of Blowing away- I can't decide who's I prefer. Do you have a favourite?
