These really were the colours at Dartmouth yesterday - amazing to see such blueness after days of rain and grey skies. Dartmouth has such a stunning setting - and it's where the wonderful River Dart says goodbye... Always thankful to be living in such a beautiful place (Totnes is about 10 miles upriver - the Dart is a real life-force through the district), and happy that the music as well as the water flows freely around here...
PS That's actually Kingswear in the photo, it's on the opposite bank, seen from Dartmouth ;)
It wasn't at the Endeavour ( great venue though) it was at an evening dance at the spa; then the next day we bumped into each other by the river side. You were going back to the camp site to pack.
Glad the big yellow ball in the sky gave you a visit! I’m imagining myself in this beautiful spot. Thanks :) We had a little outing yesterday too—over to the sledding hill. It was quite a slog back up in half-meter deep snow, but I was just watching from the warm car. No climate guilt keeping the car warm: we have an electric that we recharge with renewable electricity at home :) That’s my reflexive disclaimer, like a Hail Mary after all those confessions as a kid where I didn’t have anything to confess :D
A programme on tv this week,Julia Bradbry did a walk from Totnes along the river to Dartmouth. Both places looked beautiful.
