Come to the Cabaret... and Laura Day 15

What's this, a blog post going up well before midnight? Strange!

Pic from last night at the Bay Horse (thanks Patrick!). Apart from John's arm moving on the right-hand side, I feel this almost looks like a painting...

Tonight's Laura track is one of her later adventures-of-bringing-up-a-family songs :) Laura loved Japan and went there many times (this topic I will investigate in person next trip!!). But in this song, she has a kind of mixed experience at her local Japanese place... I love the retake on the traditional geisha role...

Tokyo Diner isn't in Tokyo! Long-running London cheap-eat institution, famously open every day of the year including Christmas Day (that's an idea...) :)

That's a lovely thing to say Julia, thankyou. I had intended to sing it for The Bridge livestream but chickend out.... I then came across it again the other day and thought that it was suitable and I was now ready!

Un happy babies - I remember a night flight back from Canada with 2 two year olds!.... Also a 4 hour car journey with my sister on same holiday with the 4 kids ( all under 2 ) where we were hoping to catch up on chat and my two cried ALL THE WAY!!

Posted so early I overlooked it for nearly four hours!!! I had not heard this one. Amanda I thought you were referring to a different song previously.

More than one good joke, or maybe that’s just me laughing past the graveyard, but I think she is too. Laugh about it or end up in another song crying by the washing machine, but I’ve also done exactly that. Can’t always out-laugh it. There’s a Laura for all occasions :)
