Pushing the envelope out a little more, Lockdown Livestreams (me) made a daytrip to Bath! The mission was to find the American Museum and browse the collection of hand-stitched quilts there - whilst also enjoying the delights of Bath, of course. I've only been to Bath a couple of times - it's really beautiful, and because of the pandemic, it wasn't busy. There looks like some nice places to eat and drink to go back for another time. Hope you enjoy the virtual tour! :)

Talking of friends and looking back - in August 2018 I was stood near this seafood shack watching a performance when I heard a friendly voice say 'hello' several times, looking around I couldn't make out where it was coming from until a tall man bent down and made himself seen and gave me the warmest hug! A few minutes later we were asked to move as we were blocking the view of the singers! Now I wonder who that could have been?:))
Your photo of the Square where the busker is setting up just reminded me of the time when we were visiting Bath with friends; my husband was wearing his very light coloured new jumper ,when he was splattered by a gull in that same place. His head and jumper were covered! The stains were eventually removed!
Ha ha, that's it - definitely toasties here! Love those angels ascending/descending the ladder - esp the one looking back to his friend... Thanks for the inspiration! :)
Apologies if you have half finished / repeated comments and pics from me- wi fi cut out on train multiple times....
Hurray ,you got to the museum and Bath. A great selection of photos and you managed to see some Gees Bend quilts too. The quilts and needlework are lovely .
I must revisit Bath again, if only to have the bestest breakfast! Ha ha. I like the Angels climbing the ladder to Heaven and also the one going elsewhere!
Bookshops,bookshops- I visited 3 today too. Glad I could leave my suitcase in a corner.
Good view through the cake shop window( on the bridge?) Nice cakes- i resisted in York...
Why are they climbing if they have wings? I want to walk into the photos with the single tree in the middle of the shops. I see a sign for toasties. I think they ARE what I call grilled cheese. Great photos!
