Sunrise is getting later - I was up in time to see it over the Eucalyptus Forest c5.30 this morning... Still beautiful :) That was after a day of joyful American connections - I've never felt so involved in July 4th! I made up a playlist of related songs - not all of them especially celebratory, but all of them refer to the date. Enjoy!
Happy also to find out recently about another American holiday, Juneteenth, I'd never heard of this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juneteenth
Happy July! See you on the 22nd!
Some lovely weather to visit atmospheric Dungeness and nearby Rye.
Sadly, no diamonds for me! However, I did hear a cock crowing- didn't know that was in the neighbourhood ... Amazing what you see and hear when it's dawn- either when getting up OR going to bed.;)
I've never heard of the Juneteenth day either. Thanks for the link.
I'm enjoying the playlist , although the free version of spotify adds extra songs, which I enjoy too,- only they may just not be on the theme and leave me pondering for a while!
Is it really a Eucalyptus forest or your name for it as it reminds you of somewhere?
Happy belated birthday Amanda.xx
Nights in the World: I like the Bangluck Market. There’s a Dong Hung grocery and jewelry store here. I’m always totally mature when I pass by and never giggle.
