Oh, yeah, the Rough Guide. Thanks! I’ve heard their salsa album, but not the cumbia, although I’ve probably heard all the contents because cumbia is the ubiquitous soundtrack on buses, at festivals, weddings, baptisms (yes, those are an occasion to kick up heels too), etc., etc....:)
A great piece of street art. These pictures of steps sent me on a Google search for the world's longest staircases . Some amazing examples came up.
Pilgrimage! You could merge some piano audio with some accurate jumping around the steps. Nice murals...lots of murals. This looks daunting if one were to have, say, an all-night salsa/cueca dancing injury. It’s a good thing there are all those funiculars. I hear about this filmmaker from an interview with a mom unschooling/worldschooling her son as they traveled Latin America.
