Thank you to everyone who tuned into the Sea Songs Special on Sunday night - I loved picking up your comments during and after the show. It was a really great topic to explore - hope you enjoyed joining in with those shanties... The recording is up on YouTube now so you can catch it there or listen again :)) https://youtu.be/-_j92er6rSY
So the theme for next time will be Journeys... Provisional date of Thurs 20th May - look forward to seeing you then! x

Calendar updated, provisionally :)
From a trip to the Alison Jacques Gallery London to see The Gees Bends quilt exhibition. Quilts made from any bits of fabric available to these women in this poor community in Alabama. They created their own patterns. The souls grown deep website has more background info if interested.
In the last week,on various journeys I've seen a cyclist on the motorway, a monument getting cleaned,an optician doing business in an empty train,a beautiful Morris without, TW,a crosscut quilt and a skeleton doing her shopping!!Ha ha.
Thank YOU, Capitan of the now-creaky piano :) On with Journeys... Please tell her to keep swimming along. It looks like she may be caught in a red tide https://serc.carleton.edu/microbelife/topics/redtide/general.html
Could be. They are all over the house (& garden!) :))
