Singing Space, Cadiz

Writer: philoggukphilogguk

A last link from magical Cadiz! One afternoon I called in at the Cadiz Contemporary Art Gallery and discovered a less-frequented part of the building, where I couldn't resist trying out the acoustics! So by way of another preview for Thursday's livestream, this is Laura Nyro's 'Mother Earth'. I kept thinking someone would walk in, but managed to get through it undisturbed; it's a bit like a prayer. (Audio only, the image is from the promenade outside the museum when I came out) :))

That sounds very beautiful. The acoustics also work so well.

Talking of which, I still have some Ringtons ( I am still dieting!)

What did you think of the acoustics? This sounds so great! I’m glad all the pieces fell into place. I agree it’s a bit like a prayer, especially unaccompanied and the way you sing it here, a prayer to Gaia. The still “cerca fue del castillo, el de San Sebastián“? :)
