Time for Plymouth

Today it was the turn of Plymouth for a daytrip - it's about 25 minutes away from Totnes by train, so my nearest city (a few minutes closer than Exeter in the opposite direction!). For the first time ever I didn't visit the Barbican or the Hoe, but there was still plenty to enjoy in the city centre. Hope you enjoy looking around the Ocean City!

By the way, there are new items beginning to appear on the Over To You and Food and Drink pages in preparation for the Night livestreams! Do take a peek...

I'm really enjoying the playlist. Even a couple that I wasn't sure of on first listening- my ear has become atuned to the sound.:)

Yes, afterparty might be a bit more mellow... ;)

So, it seems like they did a good job including Wampanoag voices and the the four nations ceremony looks interesting. I see upcoming gigs! How exciting! I really like how they hung the cool figureheads. African dinner looks great. All the colored glasswork is so cool. Oh, one of the signs reminded me of seeing guys pressed into service a couple times in Colombia. Thanks for the photo tour!

Yes, great carved figureheads- I'm certain those cables will hold...! The glass lamp shades brought to mind those in Glasgow School of Art, although not so similar.

Another adventure! Are they wooden shingles on those houses or slate?- beautiful! Funny ha ha about the far sightedness of that shop.:)) I don't quite understand about the soup thing..?

Is that a scotch egg or an arancini?- either way yum!
